Nigerian Police Launch Mobile Application 'Smart Police' (See How To Download And Activate It With Ease)

Wow! I'm happy to inform you that Nigerian Police Force has stepped up towards competing with their counterparts across the globe by going digital. 

This time, a mobile application has been launched. You can now report any case with 100% convenience and the most interesting part of it is that you can choose to do all these without revealing your identity. 

Criminals are now in big soup. Thanks to the pragmatic stride of Nigerian police. 

To download the application:
  • Go to Google play store if you are using Android device and if not, visit your device store to download it. 
  • Search for 'Smart Police' 
  • Click on Open to launch it

  • Then register
Note: You must register before you will be able to use the application. 

Ways through which you can register, click on the MENU at the left hand side of the screen(at the top) ;
  • Facebook 
  • Google+
  • Anonymous login (Your details will be unknown) 
  • Create account 

Advantages of this laudable application 

  • You can make distress call (emergency call) at ease, all what you have to do is to make use of the 'Panic Mode button'
  • You don't need to be looking for phone numbers any longer, thereby saving your call credit 
  • You can equally make incident report 
  • It is used by the force to monitor how its men respond to the distress calls received 
  • You can interact with the force
  • Among others 
Note: If registered with your email (with this your identity will be known) , a confirmation email will be sent to your inbox. 

Wait for say 5 minutes, check your email box to confirm your request. After confirmation, go back to your mobile application and sign in. 

You are good to go!
