A popular commercial driver was shot dead between Aramoko and Igede in Ekiti state by unknown masked men.
The incident occured yesterday morning.
According to reports, the driver who worked for Lafe Ade Transport Company, was murdered close to Police Check Point in the area.
There is already tension in the state as men of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are now gunning for war, with the Aramoko-Igede Ekiti road blocked for several hours before they were dispersed by the law enforcement agents.
