CBN Sacks Skye Bank's Management Over Capital Issues |PoliFocus

The Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) has dissolved the board and management of Skye Bank. The top executives were sacked over capital adequacy issues, according to Reuters.


The apex bank will partially take over the bank.Chief Executive Timothy Oguntayo, who led Skye Bank to acquire nationalised lender Mainstreet Bank in 2014, resigned before the Central Bank announcement on Monday, the source added.
