EXCLUSIVE: OPINION: Like TKO Aluko, Like Abdulmumin Jibrin; Set Of Frustrated 'Ricevists' —PoliFocus

The resent revelations by the erstwhile Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti, Dr. Tope Aluko on #EkitiGate saga and that of Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin on alleged paddling of 2016 budget to me are borne out of frustration and greed as against the 'activism' spirit but 'rice-activism'... Lolz

Aluko who was a staunch pillar of support to Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose before, during and after the election to the point of acting as one of the principal witnesses during the election tribunal, suddenly became an activist after falling out of favour in the sight of his principal, Fayose.

Aluko started rolling out jawbreaking secrets that he and his principal did towards winning the controversial election that was adjured to be characterised by scientific rigging according to the All Progressives Congress (APC) when his principal denied him of the promised position of the 'Chief of Staff to the Governor'.

Permit me to quickly add it that, the highest court in the land, Supreme Court has confirmed that that election was peaceful and devoid of sharp practices.

In a saner clime, person of Aluko should not be given audience because he is only acting like a parrot because of greed and personal vendetta against his 'perceived' unfair treatment by his boss.

Likewise Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin, who was reportedly removed as the Chairman House Committee on Appropriation Bill. Jibrin who has been in the new lately over alleged padding of the 2016 budget by Speaker Yakubu Dogara and some principal officers of the House of Representatives.

The question is, 'will he say all what he has been saying if he wasn't removed as the Chairman'? Though I support the call that the allegations in both scenarios should be probed extensively but Nigerians should not celebrate the duo as human rights activists nor masses' mouthpiece.

President Buhari should also step up his anti-graft war, by now both Speaker Dogara and Jibrin together with all involved should have been questioned as to the allegations. Same rule should apply!
