Though as an average Nigerian, I will go by any process that will bring peace to every part of Nigeria but I have my reservation about the way we celebrate criminals.
The late Umaru Yar'Adua gave amnesty to the then militants. Most of them became millionaires overnight and this has served as a moral booster for this new group called 'Niger Delta Avengers, NDA).
If the Avengers have their way, I can bet it that other groups will soon spring up in order to get FG's attention.
Bombing oil facilities and kidnapping cum maiming innocent internationals and Nigerians just to prove a point is condemnable.
Though I can't away from the fact that we have many groups working against the peace of the nation at the moment, such as Islamic fundamentalists known as Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, Biafra agitators, among others.
In my opinion, I would have the Buhari-led administration to concentrate on combating them. They will have no option to call for ceasefire.
Buhari cannot pretend not to know their sponsors as it stands now. Nigeria military, Navy and Air Force should be put on their toes.
How long will Nigeria continue to give soft landing to miscreants??
