As the economy bites harder, certain suggestions have been made in many fora, prints and non-prints.

Many business tycoons have equally suggested the sales of the nation's assets, so as to cushion the effect of the sorry economic state. 

The suggestion has been greeted with a lot of protest by larger percentage of Nigerians both in home and in diaspora. 

But the presidency has responded by disregarding it as a 'mere' suggestion, it was made known by the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu. 

Also a Northern group has called on the President Muhammadu Buhari to sack 50% of the federal civil servants. 

But I will align myself with the position of the outspoken Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye who said leaders should be ready to make more sacrifices. 

The take-home of our political leaders should be stemmed, this will salvage the nation and as well give room for people with genuine heart to serve the people to aspire for political offices than moneybags. 

Political scallywags have flooded the seats of government, thereby causing untold hardship on the citizens because their concern is only their pockets! 

A nation that ones paraded herself as a giant of Africa now struggling to be among the first 20 in same continent! What a shame!!! 

President Buhari should please in the interest of the nation revisit the claim of the CEO of Capital Oil, Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, who once claimed on a national television that he could make a US Dollar to be equal to N200 within a month. 

He sworn with his life as to that, this means that he has the idea if given the chance. He made himself available on a condition that, if 'consulted'. 

It is high time President Buhari saw beyond politics. Nigeria belongs to us all. So if a PDP man has the solution to this lingering problem of economy, he shouldn't hesitate to bring him on board. 

We need technocrats. Everyone can't be politician but some Nigerians have made niches for themselves in their chosen professions. They can be consulted. 

As at yesterday, Naira was N495 to a Dollar! We cannot continue like this!!! 

We must together solve this problem and save Nigeria and Nigerians from the ugly hydra-headed recession.
