Injured Rangers Star, Ifeanyi Egwim Will Be Back On His Feet In Three Weeks —Team Doctor |PoliFocus

Rangers International FC, team doctor, Emeka Onyia has revealed that injured striker Ifeanyi Egwim will start walking again in two to three weeks after a second successful surgery in Enugu on Tuesday.


Speaking on Egwim, who suffered a double leg fracture in Sunday’s championship decider against El Kanemi Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, Onyia said:“Today’s surgery last three hours in all. We gave him the best that could be got anywhere as well as the best we could offer.

“He will start walking in about two, three weeks and hopefully he could start playing again in four months,”he added. Rangers won the league after 32-year wait and will represent the country in the CAF Champions League alongside Rivers United which finished as runner-up.

Meanwhile, Tuesday’s surgery was done at the National Orthopedic Hospital in Enugu, where the first operation was done Sunday night.
