It Is Too Early To Crucify Buhari - PoliFocus

I feel perplexed though with disdain when people assess and make unhealthy comparisons of this present government with immediate past government.

Though this obstinate behaviours are understandable but people should not make it obstreperous.

Because some are yet to be in reality with a fact the they have lost the grip of the power but now on opposition terrain.

People making nugatory claims should please desist from them. In democracy, there is always room for constructive criticism but shouldn't be abused.

Our present statehood is a a thing of concern, no doubt fuel scarcity, shapeless economy, free-fall of Naira in the parallel market, daily denial of electioneering promises, just to mention but few.

But posterity will not forgive us if we are comfortable with comparing a kindergarten pupil with a secondary school.

What this implies is that, President Muhammadu Buhari is on his seventh month in the saddle of polity.

Immediate past president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan used six years steering the wheel of this country, so juxtaposing the two right now will be callous and humane.

As I have posted on Twitter earlier today, All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Muhammadu Buhari should be given more time.

Say two years, if he performs below the expectation of we Nigerians, I means the masses not people with vested interest, we can then nail him to the cross.

Irrational criticism should not be encouraged, our South-East brothers should stop seeing Muhammadu Buhari As the president of the North and Yorubas but as Nigerian president.

Enough of tribalism, to my best of knowledge, Igbo people are not marginalised. So there is no convincing reason for there insubordination to the government of the day.

Let us all say no to vituperative commentaries and embrace peace. Better Nigeria is possible, if only you and I can be supportive.

To the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, remember that we can change the change if there is need for it.

God bless my country, Nigeria.
