The controversy that the missing 2016 budget may have been suppressed a bit as the Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara confirmed the present state of the documents.
Tagged the scenario as April Fool. The News of missing budget leaked earlier today.
The budget which was presented by President Muhammadu Buhari on 22nd of December before the joint session of the National Assembly.
Dogara who made this clarification using his Twitter Handle when posers were directed to him about the missing budget.
"1st of April too early this year on Twitter. 2016 Budget estimates Stolen @NASS?? Pretty funny stuff! "
His confirmation as to the precise State of the documents was also a response to another poser."
"It's in custody of the Clerk to me House of Reps. I can confirm that no one has broken into his office"
