A concern indigene of Ogbomoso, Oyo State who pleaded anonymity made this known to PoliFocus.
In his words, no single independent marketer sells at the government regulated price.
Only NNPC mega station complies with the new price of N86.00k
It will be recalled that towards the end of last year, the pump price was regulated.
The announcement of N86.50 per litre for independent marketers while N86 per litre for Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) was made to be effective on January 1.
Though many filling stations have been selling at this regulated price but the story is different in Ogbomoso.
Should we say Ogbomoso is not part of Nigeria again? Department for Petroleum Resources (DPR) should please intervene by visiting this town.
Even the filling station of a notable politician there is floating this same law. The price per litre is between N110 and N120.
If confirmed to be true, necessary disciplinary action should be taken, so as to checkmate this arrogant disrespect of law.
