See How To Protect Your Blackberry Messenger, BBM Account From "Phishing" |PoliFocus

This post explains how you can protect your Blackberry Messenger, BBM Account from phishing.

Beware of “phishing” links.  BBM will never ask you to enter your username or password on a website.

BBM only asks you to enter your use name and password in these cases:

1) when you first open BBM
2) when you update your profile in BBM
3) when you open BBM after a long period of inactivity

Recently, hackers have been obtaining BBM username and passwords by sending messages containing links to fraudulent websites which appear to be part of the BBM app, prompting users to login with their BBM user name and password. To protect your BBM account, never enter your BBM username or password.

Be guided!
