The teen identified simply as Iduma Obodo, who hails from Oweikorogha Community in Southern Ijaw Local Government, suffered serious machete wounds during the attack including an almost severed palm.
The shocking attack has caused an uproar in Yenagoa, the state capital. According to the reports, some indigenes of Otuan Community have claimed that the boy confessed to the crime and took responsibility for the disappearances.
Speaking with Leadership newspaper, an indigene of the community identified as Thelma, said: “After some beating, he explained that the genitals were no longer in his possession; as he alleged that they were with one old man whom he claimed sent him – after swinging a white handkerchief to make the deed possible.”
One of the men whose manhood was reportedly taken, Ebekemie Samson, claims that it had taken the intervention of a man of God, through prayers and deliverance, before his manhood had returned.
According to some of the indigenes, the case has been reported to the Police in the state.
