The crisis bedevilling the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has taken a drastic turn as the party has decided to change its Twitter handle @PdpNigeria to @officialpdpnig.
PoliFocus earlier posted that controversy that surrounded the sack of Prince Deji Adeyanju as its Director of New Media over unauthorised cum primitive comments about Buhari and Nigeria’s economy.
Rumour has it that Adeyanju even went ahead to call President Muhammadu Buhari an animal using the party’s Twitter handle!
The party frown at such and has directed that no one should release any statement on behalf of the party unless authorised.
Adeyanju has finally bowed to pressure as he now posted that party faithfuls should follow the new Twitter handle @officialpdpnig.
@PdpNigeria posted this tweet "This is to say goodbye to @pdpnigeria. All Party members and supporters should henceforth follow @OfficialPDPNig".
