Manchester City also confirmed the cancellation on its website in a statement on Monday.
“Due to recent weather events, tournament organisers and participating clubs have made thedecision to cancel tonight’s International Champions Cup fixture to be played in Beijing tonight, 25 July.”
Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola were set to face themselves for the first time in their new clubs in Monday’s friendly.
