President Buhari Launches Abuja-Kaduna Railway As Ameachi Throws Shade At Jonathan |PoliFocus

President Muhammadu Buhari earlier today launched Abuja-Kaduna railway service. The project according to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi was awarded by ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo.

Immediate past President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan also add his own touches but was completed by the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari.

Ameachi said the Jonathan-led government partially executed the project against the popular belief of PDP supporters that believed that Jonathan actually did the most important job as regards the project.

Ameachi also posited that the rail stations, the signaling, the communications and part of the tracks were done and completed by the Buhari-led administration.

"Also today, the Abuja-Kaduna rail was inaugurated. Inside d train, Mr. President emphasized d importance of rail transport," he said.

This will in no small measure provide succor to the transporters. It is our hope that the rail system will go round the country.
